Pre-engagement notice

Information on this site is general and informational. Nothing on this site, in a form submission, or in a Discovery / Intake conversation establishes a CPA-client engagement or a fiduciary relationship between you and Sheepdog Prosperity Partners LLC, Sheepdog Tax, Sheepdog Tax Resolution, or Noah Green CPA CFE.

A formal engagement begins only upon execution of a written Master Services Agreement (MSA) and a per-matter Statement of Work (SOW) that defines scope, deliverables, timing, and the basis on which fees will be set.

Discovery / Intake calls are scoping conversations. They are not advisory, attestation, audit, or tax-advice engagements. We use them to understand the matter, evaluate fit, and recommend whether a formal engagement is appropriate.

Conflict-of-interest screening runs on every potential engagement before any work begins. Some matter combinations — for example, those involving immediate family on adverse sides of a transaction — are not engagements we accept under any circumstances. Other combinations may be accepted with named controls (such as separate engagement teams or written informed consent). The conflict review happens privately and its outcome is communicated to you before any engagement is formed.

What we do not do. Sheepdog Prosperity Partners LLC and its operating brands do not perform audit, attestation, review, or examination engagements. Where a matter requires an attest service, we will tell you and direct you to a qualified provider.

Confidentiality of pre-engagement information. Information you share with us during a Discovery / Intake conversation, in a form submission, or in pre-engagement correspondence is held in confidence as pre-engagement diligence. We do not use it for any purpose other than evaluating whether and how to propose a scoped engagement. Pre-engagement confidentiality is not the same as attorney-client privilege; no professional privilege attaches in the absence of a signed engagement.

Communication preferences. Email and form submissions are received at the address shown in the footer. Initial responses typically occur within one business day; we will request a Microsoft Teams or telephone conversation for any matter that requires real-time scoping.

If any of these terms are unclear, raise them in the Discovery / Intake call before any engagement is formed.
